EQUIPMENT RENTALS: Our full service rental department offers over 4,000 sets of ski and snowboard equipment plus a state-of-the-art boot drying system. We also offer rentals at Cataloochee Ski & Sports Shop in Maggie Valley.
TUBING: Multiple runs are available at Tube World in Maggie Valley. The tube park is located on Hwy 19 (Soco Road) in Maggie Valley, 4 miles from the Ski Area.

Weekend/Holiday Rates are Saturday, Sunday, holiday and Friday nights. Weekdays are non-holiday Monday through Thursday days and Tuesday through Thursday nights.
Opening Day, 2017-18: Cataloochee typically opens for the season within the first to second week of November each year. We are weather dependent and need colder snowmaking temperatures in order to open for the season. We will make snow as quickly as we can in late October to early November to open. Please check our snow report for updates beginning in October and as we get closer to
Holidays: Holiday rates apply for the following dates: Thursday, Nov. 23 through Sunday, November 26 as well as Monday, December 18, 2017 through Monday, January 1, 2018; Friday, January 12 through Monday, January 15, 2018 and Friday, February 16 through Monday, February 19, 2018.
Twilight and Night Skiing: Twilight and night skiing are available everyday from December 18 except for Christmas Eve. We will also twilight and night ski on Wednesday, Nov. 22, and Friday & Saturday, Nov. 24 & 25. Open Thanksgiving Day from 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Your lift ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable. The Ski Area does not assume any responsibility for lost lift passes. No replacements. All guests must have a valid lift ticket at all times to enter any slope system. There is no grace period at Cataloochee Ski Area. All prices and policies subject to change without notice. No general public on lift without skis or snowboard. Management reserves the right to revoke ticket at any time.
Though we take every precaution when doing daily maintenance to lifts and conveyors to keep spillage to a minimum, there will be occasions in which grease or light debris will drop from the lifts. Please know this is a risk that is inherent to the sport and Cataloochee is not responsible for stains or grease on garments or ski or snowboard equipment.
