Colder Temps on the Way!

Colder temperatures are in the forecast after this short front moves through and snowmaking will begin as soon as temperatures permit.  Today we will be skiing from top of the mountain down from Upper Omigosh on 9 slopes with a base of 28-48″ a machine worked surface with three aerial lifts and one conveyor lift operating.

Today we offer three sessions of skiing, day skiing from 8:30am-4:30pm, twilight skiing from 1pm until 10pm and night skiing from 6pm until 10pm with a morning or afternoon half day rate also available.  Remember we are now in our regular season operating schedule of day, twilight and night skiing each day with the exception of Christmas Eve when we ski until 4:30pm and Christmas Day when we ski from 1pm until 10pm.

Our rental shop in Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski & Sports, is open daily.  Be sure to stop there for your rentals, tickets and all accessories you might need prior to your day on the slopes.  They are located at 3434 Soco Road, Maggie Valley.  Also, as an added bonus, you can pick up your equipment and lift tickets for the following day anytime after 3pm at our shop in Maggie Valley.

Tube World, located in Maggie Valley, four miles from the ski area, across from Ghost Town in the Sky, plans to open for the 2019-20 tubing season on Friday, December 20.  Please check back with us for updates.
