First and foremost - we are safe. Our year-round staff and their families are accounted for, and we sincerely hope you and your loved ones are as well. We want to thank everyone tremendously for the outpouring of concern and for checking in.
We are grateful to have fared storm Helene as well as we did, and for the ability to extend our available resources to families in need. Necessary repairs to the area are underway and we are full speed ahead, as well as on schedule, for the upcoming season.
That said, our surrounding community has a long road ahead returning to life before the storm. We ask for patience as we respond to inquiries as quickly as possible through widespread connectivity challenges. We will continue prioritizing our support for staff and the community during this time.
Signing off for now, but eager to welcome you back to the mountain very soon. Wishing everyone safety, strength, and a swift recovery.
We are getting SO close to the season we can FEEL it… can you?!

We hosted the annual Southeastern Lift Maintenance Seminar last month and wanted to share some fun captures from the event. Ski areas from all over the region joined us to freshen up on their lift maintenance skills, and even learn new tricks of the trade.
Speaking of snow on the ground… Scroll through to 👀 the snow we made during the seminar (yes, snow in MAY, y’all!). You already know we STAY thinking winter. ❄️
After 117 days of blood, sweat, and tears… We’re only kidding - just lots and lots of snowmaking (and a tiny bit of everything else 😝), but we have one more amazing season on the books.
Thank you for all the memories you and your families made and shared with us. Thank you for another winter where all of you chose US (and a start to Spring where Mother Nature gave us the pleasure of choosing YOU 😉).

Sunday marks the beginning of our LATE season period, projected to run from March 10th thru March 24th.
What this means: 1. Saturday, March 9th is the last NIGHT session for the season. 2. Our intended last day of the season is March 24th, weather permitting. 3. We will continue operating daily until 4:30 PM, come rain or shine, so long as we have the snow coverage to do so.
If you have not kept your eyes peeled on the weather, we are expecting natural snowfall come Sunday.
We can’t wait to see you again before the end of the 2023/24 season!
