Join us for after school programming that is full of endless opportunities for youth 7-17 years of age.
Our early season (two-week) and regular season (seven-week) after school programs are progressive lessons ranging in difficulty from beginner to upper intermediate.
Whether this will be a first time on snow or an opportunity to hone skills, our team can’t wait to help your child reach their goals.
Both ski and snowboard disciplines are available.
To ensure the most positive experience, we have limited space for each specialty and therefore are unable to make alterations once your child is registered.
After the initial check-in and fitting of gear, the check-in process is a breeze as we conveniently save each participants sizing information for quick reference in following sessions.
Online registration is required. Students enrolled above beginner level will be evaluated to determine final placement.
Early season registration is from Saturday, November 16th at 9:00 AM through Saturday, December 7th.
Regular season registration is from Saturday, November 30th at 9:00 AM through Sunday, December 22nd.
Regular season programs on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday each offer a bonus date.
These are reserved as a make-up session should Cataloochee Ski Area not be operating any of the listed dates for night session.
In the event of all sessions taking place on schedule, the bonus date will remain in effect as an additional session and opportunity to showcase learned skills.

This field-trip styled program is designed to offer all of STEM, Science, and Math principles within a roughly two-hour period. The lesson will provide invaluable insight into the world of snowmaking at Cataloochee Ski Area through lecture, a guided tour, and visual experience. Please note, this experience does not include a slope pass but is a fun and exciting way to learn at very little cost ($5.00 per attendee).

4. FAQ – All your curiosities answered.
This program can be attended either Wednesday, January 15th or Wednesday, February 12th at 10:00 AM.
