Ready, set, slow? Not Cataloochee Ski Area youth racing programs! If you are looking to speed things up, this is the perfect place to start. Our youth programs are associated with local area middle and high schools, making sign-ups a breeze. Middle school racing is broken down into two age groups: 8-11 and 12-14, while high school competitors are grouped together. All age brackets are broken down by gender and discipline in the scoring phase. In the event your school does not participate, we also offer the option to race independently.
All races are a modified giant slalom. NASTAR software is utilized for timekeeping, therefore requiring that registration and annual waivers are completed online at NASTAR.com prior to racing.
After purchasing your package, you can complete the online forms which will accompany your confirmation receipt via email. Waivers can be signed in person when you go to pick up race passes.
