ATTIRE

BASE

A proper base layer will keep you dry and warm. It should be tight fitting and wick aware moisture. Avoid cotton and other materials that do not dry quickly.

MID

A second layer can be added, and is recommended, in colder conditions. This layer should be lightweight and capable of withstanding outdoor elements and can be worn on its own in milder conditions.

OUTER

The most important layer is the shell. An ineffective outer layer will hinder performance of the base and mid layers. This layer protects you from harsh elements in cold, wet conditions such as low temperatures and snowmaking.
