Lifts will start spinning at 8:30 AM Friday, November 28th, with daily passes and rentals available for purchase online starting tomorrow morning.
During the holiday period (Friday & Saturday) operations will run from 8:30 AM until 10:00 PM. Operations will return to early season hours (8:30/9 AM - 4:30 PM) beginning Sunday.
If you havenโt already, mark your calendars for the annual Ski Patrol gear sale coming up next Saturday, December 6th. Details for drop off and sale times are available on the cataloochee.com homepage.
Additionally, registration for our After School, Racing, and Women on Wednesday programs all open at 9:00 AM on Saturday, December 6th.

How was everyoneโs first time on the mountain for the 2025-26 season?! Itโs been an epic week with you all so far and weโve loved seeing everyone back in their element (our phenomenal staff included). ๐๐
For those who joined us this week, youโre the real MVPโs. ๐ For those who couldnโt make first turns with us yet, donโt worry because we are just getting started...
For all of you and beyond, we hope you know you remain our highest priority when it comes to making operational decisions that impact the guest experience. As most of you can imagine, due to the mere size of the project, our teams worked diligently on the Omigosh Quad chairlift installation from the start of our off-season to the very end. We never turn down an opportunity to fire up the snow guns and weโre grateful to have been able to provide an unexpected and earlier than normal opportunity for many of you to get on the snow. To allow for this, we had to pause on some necessary projects and as a result have made the decision to cease operations from Monday, November 17th, through Friday, November 21st.
We share this update with the intention and utmost commitment to welcoming you back to both Cataloochee Ski Area and Tube World next Saturday, November 22nd. In the meantime, tune those skis, wax those boards, and get ready for whatโs ahead because we can guarantee thereโs no fun like slope fun. โท๏ธ๐
