WHAT’S UP:   We are open on 18 slopes and trails from the top of the mountain down and have three aerial lifts and two conveyor lifts operating with skiing from the top of the mountain down.  Base is 44-74″ with machine worked surface.  We offer three sessions of skiing, day skiing from 8:30am-4:30pm, twilight skiing from 1pm until 10pm and night skiing from 6pm until 10pm with a morning or afternoon half day rate also available.  Remember NASTAR Public Racing is today from 11am-2pm on Alley Cat Race Trail.  Must be NASTAR registered to race.  Get more info here.

Tube World, located in  Maggie Valley, four miles from the ski area across from Ghost Town in the Sky is on its regular schedule and will open at 4pm for sessions at 10, 12, 2, and 4pm.  To reserve your session in advance any day after today, please click here.  If you wish to tube and have been unable to purchase a ticket online, you can purchase a ticket for any session in the day if available the morning of the day you plan to tube.   Cost for tubing is $25  and you must be 42″ tall to ride alone.   There is no two person tubing at Tube World.

NOTICE TO OUR GUESTSdo not use your GPS or IPhone Map app to bring you to the ski area or Tube World and DO NOT use any mapping that includes the words SCENIC VIEW DR. or ROAD NAMES HEMPHILL ROAD OR YELLOW PATCH ROAD.  Use the directions below for the quickest routes.  These roads are incorrect and a mapping error that takes you up a dead end private road and single lane fire roads.

Tube World is not located at the ski area.  Tube World is located on U.S. 19 (4721 Soco Road) directly across from the ski area entrance sign at Fie Top Road in Maggie Valley.
