Cataloochee Youth Racing Program

Cataloochee racing is back for another season! Racing is associated with the local area schools. Coaches will be your point of contact for each school. If you are unsure your school has a race program, feel free to reach out to racing@cataloochee.com. If your school doesn’t have a program, you are welcome to race independently.

Middle school racing will be Tuesday nights at 6pm with ages starting at 8 years old. There will be 2 age ranges: 8-11 and 12-14 due to the large range of ages. High school racing will be on Wednesday nights at 6pm. All races will be a modified giant slalom and we will be using Nastar software for timing – so please register and sign your yearly waiver on Nastar.com to make it easier for us!

Helmet, goggles, and a valid lift ticket are required for EACH race. Equipment rentals are available for the season will need to be purchased at the info window.

2023 Race Pass

Once you have purchased your race package, fill out your information on the online form. Waivers can be signed in person when you go to pick up race passes. Questions can be directed to Anna Goodfellow at racing@cataloochee.com

THESE FORMS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE ON YOUR EMAILED CONFIRMATION RECEIPT, ONCE YOU HAVE PURCHASED YOUR RACE PACKAGE.

Forms include:

A completed and signed PARTICIPANT RELEASE FORM and the SKIER/RIDER RELEASE OF LIABILITY.
A completed and signed NASTAR Registration form.
RECEIPT for payment Online Transaction.  Those persons not purchasing a package including a lift ticket must present their season pass.
Race passes are valid every Tuesday and Wednesday RACE DAY from 1:00 pm until 10:00pm beginning Tuesday, January 10, 2023 through March 1, 2023 as well as all day on Race Finals Day on Sunday, March 5, 2023.
