Tube World in Maggie Valley
Tube World is now closed for the 2012/2013 tubing season. Please visit us when we reopen in December for the 2013/2014.
A day at Tube World brings memories of childhood sled rides rushing back. Kids of all ages enjoy this tubing sport, perfect for a family or group outing. Better yet, you never have to walk back up the hill – simply step on our carpet lift and let it do the work. Before you know it, you’re back at the top of the hill for another run.
We apply the same snowmaking science and grooming at the snow tubing park as we do at the Ski Area, so you can always count on a quality sliding surface. Tube World is open from mid December through the first of March, weather permitting. Only Tube World equipment may be used. No two person tubing allowed. Tube World is located four miles from the ski area in the town of Maggie Valley, across from Ghost Town in the Sky. Cost for snowtubing is $25 per person per session. Sessions are one hour and 45 minutes long and run every two hours. There is a minimum height of 42 inches. No two person tubing is allowed.
Please remember tubing is on a first come, first served basis and if the session you wish to tube is sold out, you may purchase a session for later in the day.
We also have Wee Bowl Snowplay Area for those children who do not meet height requirements. Cost for Wee Bowl is $5 per session. Wee Bowl is open on a limited basis, when snowmaking allows, please call ahead to confirm. Tube World supplies kiddie tubes for the Wee Bowl Snowplay Area. Session times for Wee Bowl run concurrently with the larger tube hill.

REMEMBER tubing is on a first come, first served basis and some sessions do sell out during busy holiday or weekend time periods. Should the session you wish to tube be sold out when you arrive, you may purchase a session for later in the day if space is available.
