Closed for the 09/10 season
Cataloochee is now closed after a wonderful run for the 2009/2010 season spanning six months and 117 days of Great Skiing and Riding in the Great Smokies, marking our 5th consecutive season of over 100 days of skiing and riding, and first time ever to ski or ride into the second week of April! Tube World located in Maggie Valley across from Ghost Town in the Sky is also closed for the season. We want to thank each of you who have supported us by riding, skiing or tubing with us this season and we look forward to seeing each of you again next season. Mark your calendars and come October 1, anytime there is a snowmaking opportunity count on Cataloochee to begin snowmaking for the 2010/2011 season.

Don’t forget season passes are on sale for the lowest price of this year and next now through August 31. You can purchase your pass one of three ways, online, over the phone with a credit card or in person here at the area – its that simple! Don’t miss your opportunity to save big. Pass pricing will go up on September 1. Don’t miss out, the 2010/2011 season is less than 4, 896 hours away!

Keep up with us over the summer by becoming our fan on Facebook or follow us on Twitter and find out what’s happening on the mountain first!
